I’m living in a little medieval town in central Portugal. I like to experiment with colours and materials, so I normally make small batches of hand-made ceramics.
I work in a sun-lit studio with a view to green hills and windmills. The sun and wind are very present here, that’s why I’ve chosen this name for my brand ("Sol e vento" means Sun and wind in Portuguese😌).
I believe these elements incorporate into my pottery as I shape and decorate it. So you can also feel the warmth and light of Portuguese sun and the hopeful movement of the wind while having your coffee.
